District officers from Bogatynia received information that vehicles originating from thefts might be located in one of the car parks in the town. Indeed, the officers recovered two Mazdas that had been stolen in Germany: one in October last year and the other in February.
The total value of the two recovered cars is approximately PLN 160,000. (The owners have already been notified.)
Actions are underway to apprehend those responsible for the thefts. They could face up to 10 years in prison.
