The project also includes the construction of a parking lot and a playground. The first stage involves building internal roads from the Piaskowa Street side and the Łokietka Street side, as well as 16 parking spaces for passenger cars. On this occasion, it is worth mentioning the new regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure and Construction, which changes the existing guidelines concerning the dimensions of parking spaces. From 1 January 2018, a parking space at newly built or reconstructed parking lots will be 20 cm wider than before.
The road surfaces of the Łokietka-Piaskowa internal road, sidewalks and parking spaces are being built with concrete paving blocks. The investment also includes the construction of a stormwater drainage system, drainage works and a cable line for lighting. The area will be lit by six lamp posts. The plans also include renovating the covering of the existing watercourse.
The second stage includes the construction of a playground. So-called safety surfaces will be installed around the play equipment. The playground area will be fenced.
The work is scheduled for completion at the end of May 2018. The contractor is Sitkowski from Legnica, and the design was prepared by WIR from Lubin. Archaeological supervision is being provided by the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec.
The project is valued at PLN 485,774. The funds come from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec.
