The project includes several zones with different functions. There will be a speed section for fast skating, as well as an area for training, slalom and roller hockey. This will be complemented by a recreational route and space for rest and gatherings.

The track itself will cover 4,021.74 m² and be 3 metres wide. An area for tricks measuring 38 by 33 metres is also planned.

Parking, monitoring and LED lighting

The project includes not only construction of the track but also development of the entire site. New pedestrian access routes and circulation paths will be created, and the course of the existing route in the north-western part of the area will be changed.

The project will also include an approximately 85-metre-long and 5.5-metre-wide access road, as well as a car park with 27 parking spaces, including three additional spaces provided for in the design. Two flights of outdoor steps and a ramp for skating downhill, consisting of five sections, are also planned.

The facility will have 59 LED light fixtures and 12 monitoring cameras covering the track and car park. A panel fence, benches, waste bins, bicycle racks and rules boards are also planned.

Cross-country skiing possible in winter

The roller-skating track is not intended for use only during the season favourable for roller skating. According to the project assumptions, with suitable weather conditions and proper preparation of the site, the facility may also serve as a cross-country skiing track in winter.
