We received a report from a Reader that the traffic lights at the intersection of Zgorzelecka Street and Łokietka Street in Bolesławiec are still not working. We asked Konrad Antkowiak, spokesperson for the Lower Silesian Roads and Railways Service, when they would return to normal operation.

K. Antkowiak:
DSDiK in Wrocław has taken steps to replace the damaged traffic-light support arm at the intersection of Zgorzelecka Street and Łokietka Street in Bolesławiec and restart the lights.
The company operating the traffic lights on behalf of DSDiK has been commissioned to repair and replace the damaged components of the device. The expected time required to install the new support arm and restart the lights is approximately two months.
The deadline depends on the manufacturer of the traffic-light components, which has set this waiting period for producing and delivering the new structure.
The spokesperson added:
In view of road-user safety, DSDiK in Wrocław asked the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters to pay particular attention to the intersection in question and increase traffic enforcement there.
