Stopped for inspection at noon, the cyclist was riding along a road in Włodzice Wielkie. His behavior drew the officers’ attention as he could barely stay on his bicycle. After stopping him, the police immediately knew what had caused his lack of balance. The 66-year-old man still managed to blow into the breathalyzer. Unfortunately, the device’s scale ran out. It stopped at a result of 4 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air. Several tests conducted at intervals of a few minutes showed that the level was not going to fall even by one hundredth of a per mille.
The man will be placed at the disposal of the Lwówek Śląski Court and, after the necessary procedures have been completed, will be placed in his family’s care.
