Police officers from the Lubin traffic unit spotted a bus on one of the city’s streets whose driver had not switched on the dipped headlights. The vehicle was stopped for inspection. It turned out that the 72-year-old driver was transporting children from a kindergarten in an improperly marked bus. (There were no signs indicating that children were being transported in it.)

What is more, the driver himself was not recording his working time, explaining that he only drove short distances.

The 72-year-old resident of Lubin was issued a PLN 2,300 ticket. The police also prepared a request to fine the person responsible for managing transport at the company where the driver works PLN 2,000, and requested that the Voivodeship Road Transport Inspectorate impose a fine on the company owner. The fine amounts to PLN 5,000.
