Two 18-year-olds suspected of numerous thefts of wheels from cars have been arrested. The young thieves always acted in a similar way: during the day, they drove around housing estates in Legnica and looked for cars with undamaged wheels. (They were mainly interested in the rims.) They then returned to the estate at night and took the selected loot. According to the police, the 18-year-olds stole wheels from at least 6 cars in this way. The losses were estimated at approximately 7,000 zlotys.
Officers recovered some of the stolen property. The teenagers admitted their guilt. They could now face up to 5 years in prison.
