Police officers from the Criminal Department of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra arrested a 32-year-old man suspected of burglary. Officers determined that the crime took place on January 25 this year in Jelenia Góra. The perpetrator took advantage of the owner’s absence and broke into the building. He stole property worth nearly PLN 5,000.
The suspect sold the metal and electrical components obtained as a result of the crime at one of the scrap metal collection points. The activities conducted by the police, both procedural and operational, led to the identification and arrest of the man suspected of committing the crime. He turned out to be a 32-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra.
He now faces up to 10 years in prison for burglary.
