Police officers from Pieńsk, together with officers from the Lower Silesian-Saxon “Nysa” group, gathered evidence that led to the arrest of two residents of Pieńsk municipality suspected of handling a Mercedes vehicle. (The car is worth at least PLN 400,000.)
The car was stolen in Germany. Both detainees were charged with handling property of considerable value. The prosecutor’s office placed one of the suspects under police supervision.
The two residents of Pieńsk municipality may now face up to 10 years in prison.
