The first to be caught by officers from the Legnica traffic police was a 23-year-old resident of Złotoryja County, who was stopped for a roadside check on Sunday at around 1:00 a.m. on Rolnicza Street. The 23-year-old, who was driving an Audi, had 1.7 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath.
Several hours later, on Gwiezdna Street, officers stopped another Audi for inspection. Its 18-year-old driver was behaving very nervously. It emerged that he was drunk; he had 1.3 per mille of alcohol in his system.
Both men may now face up to two years in prison.
