At night, the duty officer at the Lubin police received a report of a baby carriage burning in the stairwell of one of the apartment blocks. As it turned out, the fire was caused by a 27-year-old man who—probably while drunk—threw a cigarette butt into the carriage. Both the carriage and the bicycle next to it burned. The losses were estimated at approximately one thousand złoty.
The 27-year-old was detained. He now faces up to five years in prison.
