Lubin police were notified of a break-in at a utility building in the city. The perpetrator, who was unknown at the time, forced open the entrance door, got inside and stole a wallet containing documents, two bank cards and a small amount of money.

The thief turned out to be a 26-year-old man. Using the stolen cards, the suspect made three contactless payments for purchases. (The owner lost approximately PLN 240 in this way.)

The 26-year-old was arrested and admitted to the crime. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
