By decision of the Competition Jury, the title of 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year was awarded to Grzegorz Przystarz’s Meduza. The Kazimierz statuette, an award designed and made by Stanisław Borowski of Tomaszów Bolesławiecki, was personally collected by the company’s owner. Bolesławiec County Head Karol Stasik congratulated the winner.
From among the applications submitted, the Competition Jury selected one recipient for a distinction. It was awarded to Rafał Tomczyk’s construction company.
The hosts of the meeting, BTG vice-president Grzegorz Owczarkowski and Bolesławiec County Head Karol Stasik, expressed their appreciation to the owners of Edir, who were celebrating the 30th anniversary of their business.
The competition is co-organized by Bolesławiec County, Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Gospodarcze, the Guild of Various Crafts and Small Entrepreneurship in Bolesławiec, and the Regional Association of Employers.
