The incident occurred on Wednesday, January 10, after 4:00 p.m., at the main intersection in Zebrzydowa (Nowogrodziec gmina). The driver of a Volkswagen Touran, a 63-year-old man from Osiecznica gmina, failed to yield the right of way to a 30-year-old man from Nowogrodziec gmina, who was driving a BMW. A collision occurred.
The BMW bounced off the Touran and hit a Hyundai driven by a 39-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County. Two women, passengers in the VW and BMW, were injured in the accident. Both were taken to hospital; doctors suspect rib fractures and a knee injury.
All the drivers were sober.
