Where to Buy Picture Frames?

Instead of hiding your favorite photographs in albums, it is worth displaying them in beautiful, more or less ornate picture frames. We suggest where to look for frames.

Picture frames are — without a doubt — elements of the decor of our homes, apartments, offices and restaurants. We like surrounding ourselves with photographs that make an interior feel cozier or provide an interesting and distinctive feature that attracts guests' attention. Wooden, plastic, covered with soft materials, decorative, metal, glass — the choice of picture frames is very broad nowadays and certainly does not end with these few types. Often, when visiting friends or a local restaurant, we wonder where the owners got such unusual frames in which they display photographs. Their prices start at just a few zlotys, making them an inexpensive element capable of adding soul and character to an interior. We are here to help by suggesting where you can find similar treasures.

At a photography studio

That would probably be the most popular answer in one of the popular game shows that has been welcomed into Polish homes for many years. That is right: you will find picture frames at a photography studio, but the selection will usually be very limited and the prices prohibitive. Studio owners often explain these issues by pointing to their cooperation with renowned glaziers and carpenters, who ensure the highest quality of glass and frames. However, let us be careful and take the frame in our hands before buying it to make sure it is actually as durable as the seller describes. If it is very light, it may be made of plastic that excellently imitates wood. Let us also touch the alleged glass. It may turn out not to be glass at all, but Plexiglas. We should also pay attention to the hooks or hangers with which the frame will be kept on the wall, or to the elements intended to help it stand securely on a flat surface. If any of these issues makes us hesitate during the selection, it is better to thank the seller and go to a place where we can get the same frame at a much lower price.

At a brick-and-mortar store

If we often visit shopping centers or supermarkets, we certainly also visit departments offering interior furnishings. Such departments can be found in supermarkets, bookstores, consumer electronics and household appliance stores, and even clothing stores that have introduced a branded home line. In addition to these places, we can look for frames in the once very popular, still operating household goods stores, as well as in the stores that have sprung up like mushrooms in recent years offering “everything for 5 zlotys.” When buying picture frames in any of these places, we should pay attention to the price-to-quality ratio. Sometimes a brand is valued so highly that it increases the price of a product that — similar or even identical — can cost much less in another store. If possible, it is also good practice to wait for the sale period, when some products are discounted by as much as several dozen percent, so that instead of buying one frame, we can buy at least two for the same price. If we decide to take this step, however, we must reckon with the possibility that someone will beat us to the purchase and our dreams of the perfect picture frame will vanish.

At an online store

If, however, we do not like or do not have time for in-store shopping, prefer to have a much wider selection, save money and have the option of returning a product if it does not meet our expectations, we should certainly look for frames in online stores. The internet is a vast source of opportunities, inspiration and attractive offers, most of which we look for — including when buying picture frames. Extensive filtering options by size, the number of photographs a frame can hold, color, the material from which it was made, or even the amount we can spend on it will let us make a choice much faster than at a physical store, where — in addition to frames — the assortment includes many more products that distract our attention and extend shopping time. What is more, if the purchase does not meet our expectations after delivery, under the consumer law in force in Poland we can return the product to the seller within 14 days. The right place online, specializing in the sale of picture frames and offering a huge assortment in which everyone can find their dream frame, is https://www.fotosklep55.pl.
