The ceremony was attended by Zgorzelec County Head Urszula Ciupak, Deputy County Head Mariusz Wieczorek, representatives of local government authorities from the Zgorzelec County area, clergy, and residents of Zgorzelec and the surrounding area.
Secondary-school students prepared scenes depicting the Three Kings’ journey to Bethlehem, full of temptations. At the end of the route, by the Municipal Cultural Centre in Zgorzelec, the final scene took place—the Stable in Bethlehem, with the Holy Family inside.
The event was enhanced by the participation of animals from the Görlitz zoo: a camel and llamas. The musical accompaniment was provided by the Representative Orchestra of the Turów Power Plant.
