Both accidents on the A18 road occurred in the morning. Near Świętoszów, a Ford Tourneo went into a ditch. Three people were injured in the accident, and two were taken to hospital. The passenger sustained the most serious injuries. The woman has a broken leg, lacerations and an eye wound.
A similar accident occurred near Parkoszów. The BMW driver lost control of the vehicle, left the road and went into a ditch. The driver was taken to hospital.
Four fire service units, an ambulance and two police patrols took part in the rescue operation.
The most likely cause of both accidents was the slippery road surface. The emergency services contacted the road administrator about the matter.
