On Monday, January 8, at an intersection in Kraśnik Dolny, on the road out toward Gromadka, two cars collided. A Volkswagen Polo hit the side of a Peugeot. According to police findings, the collision resulted from failure to yield the right of way. The 32-year-old Peugeot driver, a resident of Bolesławiec County, failed to give way to the Volkswagen driver. As a result of the collision, the Volkswagen driver, a 54-year-old woman who is also a resident of Bolesławiec County, was taken to hospital. The woman has a broken foot bone. Four people, including a child, were travelling in the cars. The others received medical assistance at the scene. Since the incident was classified as a road accident, the case will be brought before the court.
