On Friday afternoon, officers from the patrol and intervention unit of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters checked a man sitting in a car parked on one of the streets of the City of Ceramics. It turned out that the 24-year-old from Lwówek County had marijuana on him.

Several hours later, a patrol stopped a vehicle for inspection because it had a faulty dipped-beam headlight. During the police procedure, the passenger began behaving nervously. It emerged that the 41-year-old resident of Bolesławiec had marijuana and methamphetamine (50 portions) on him. During the inspection, he tried to get rid of the drugs.

Then, during the night of 6–7 January, a 30-year-old resident of Bolesławiec Municipality was caught by community police officers. In his car, behind the driver's seat, the officers found a bag containing methamphetamine.

All three were arrested and have already been charged. The suspects face up to three years in prison.
