Legnica police officers watched over the safety of residents and everyone welcoming the New Year in Legnica on New Year's Eve. The night passed peacefully: during that time, officers recorded neither any serious criminal incidents nor any dangerous fireworks-related incidents. They intervened mainly in connection with disturbances of the nighttime quiet.
The officers caught only one drunk driver. He faces up to two years in prison.
