Officers from the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, conducting activities as part of the “Winter” campaign, check places where people in need may be staying. In a small forest, they came across 3 homeless people who are sheltering from the cold in a hut.
The officers repeatedly checked the location and offered to take those in need to a shelter. (The latter, however, did not want to use this solution).
Between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the community police officers went to check the location again. This time, however, asp. szt. Mariusz Białowąs and sierż. szt. Mateusz Zatylny, knowing the difficult situation of homeless people, decided to help them. And they brought food to those in need. Well done!
