The crime took place during the night of December 30–31, after 1:00 a.m. The two young geniuses of evil first stole a shopping cart and then tried to use it to break into a fireworks outlet.
An employee monitoring the security cameras witnessed the entire incident. The man notified the Lubin police.
The 20- and 22-year-olds from Lubin did not manage to steal the fireworks they wanted, as they were detained by officers from the prevention department. Both would-be burglars face up to 10 years in prison.
