Just after 8:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve, a Polish Medical Air Rescue helicopter landed in Bolesławiec. A landing site had been prepared for the aircraft at the stadium on Rajska Street. Firefighters secured the area.
We know that the rescuers took away a man who had suffered burns. The injured man was starting a fire in a stove using petrol or solvent when he himself caught fire. Reportedly, more than 50% of his skin suffered serious burns.
