On 22 December, at around 7:20 a.m., an accident occurred at the pedestrian crossing near the intersection of Sikorskiego and Iwaszkiewicza streets in Legnica. The driver of a car whose identity has not yet been established, while turning onto Iwaszkiewicza, failed to give way to a woman who was crossing the road. She was hit.
The perpetrator fled the scene without providing the injured woman with assistance. The pedestrian was taken to hospital.
