Zgorzelec detectives identified the man responsible for stealing a VW car, which occurred on December 4 in Zgorzelec. He turned out to be a 28-year-old from Zgorzelec County.
Officers recovered the aforementioned vehicle. However, it turned out that this was not the only offense committed by the 28-year-old. It emerged that the same man stole a Honda Civic on the night of November 6–7, and two other passenger cars in the first week of December. What is more, the arrested man has six fuel thefts and fleeing from the police to his name.
The man had already been in conflict with the law. The court remanded him in custody for three months. The 28-year-old could now face up to 10 years in prison.
