The finale of the Noble Gift Package campaign took place on December 9, but preparations began earlier. “Thanks to the involvement and solidarity of all personnel corps of the 23rd Artillery Regiment, money was collected and used to purchase food, household chemicals, clothing, school supplies, office equipment and toys,” lists Capt. Remigiusz Kwieciński, press officer of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment.
The collection of voluntary contributions, as well as the purchase and delivery of gifts to a family in need, was coordinated by Cpl. Mariusz Skrętowski. The artillerymen also helped load and distribute packages for other families from Bolesławiec.
