Jeleniogórscy police officers detained a 38-year-old man suspected of damaging property. The incident took place on St. Nicholas Day on one of the streets of Jelenia Góra. The man smashed a window in one of the parked cars and tore off a windshield wiper.
The car's owner notified the police after seeing the 38-year-old vandal damaging his vehicle. The victim estimated the losses at PLN 2,500.
Police detained the hooligan near the scene of the crime. The man explained that he wanted to vent his frustrations in this way. The 38-year-old now faces up to five years in prison.
