The accident occurred on Thursday, December 7, at approximately 2:25 p.m., at the intersection of Dolne Młyny Street and Wróblewski Street in Bolesławiec. According to the officers’ preliminary findings, a 56-year-old woman from Bolesławiec municipality, driving a Citroën, failed to yield to a 19-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, who was driving an Opel Astra.
A collision occurred, as a result of which the Citroën struck a roadside tree and turned onto its left side.
Both drivers were injured and taken to hospital. Fortunately, they sustained only minor injuries.
The woman responsible for the incident was fined PLN 250.
