In a material we received from a soldier of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment Zbigniew Boczar (https://istotne.pl/boleslawiec/wiadomosc/npR/zbigniew-boczar-jeden-zolnierz-trzy-medale), the corporal spoke quite critically about the quality of the food soldiers receive during field training. The artilleryman even wrote that this food is worse than what is served in a prison.
We asked the spokesperson for the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, Capt. Remigiusz Kwieciński, whether things really are that bad. “I have no comparison; I have never been in prison,” says the spokesperson for our artillerymen. “Catering is provided by the 43rd Military Economic Unit. The menu is prepared to meet the needs of a person subjected to greater physical exertion.”
Capt. Kwieciński adds: “We were surprised by this statement. The other soldiers have never complained about the food.”
