Awards are granted for outstanding achievements in artistic work, the dissemination and protection of culture, the development of science, outstanding sporting results, and social initiatives contributing to the promotion of the city.
The following are entitled to submit applications for awards:
- Mayor of Bolesławiec
- Bolesławiec City Council and committees of the Bolesławiec City Council
- cultural institutions, associations and creative unions
- art agencies and socio-cultural associations
- editorial offices of local newspapers, radio stations and television stations
- publishers
- educational institutions
- scientific and research associations and organizations
- sports clubs, associations and organizations
- social and local-government organizations
- local governments, authorities and local-government units.
Individuals and those interested in receiving an award themselves are not entitled to submit applications for awards. Details are available on the website of the Bolesławiec City Hall.
