Police officers from the Jelenia Góra traffic unit detained a 21-year-old man suspected of robbery theft. The incident occurred on November 27. While carrying out their duties on Podwale Street, the officers heard shouting and cries for help. They decided to check what had happened.

On the street, they saw two men grappling with each other. One of them was calling for help. It turned out that he was the 15-year-old victim. The other man had taken his phone under the pretext of sending an SMS and refused to return it. When the teenager demanded his phone back, he was pushed and punched in the face.

When he saw the officers, the aggressive 21-year-old threw the phone over a fence. (The police found it and returned it to its owner. The phone was worth PLN 1,600.)

The 21-year-old from Jelenia Góra is a repeat offender. The man was detained and taken to police custody. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
