The exhibition is the result of a meeting between Polish and Czech photography enthusiasts held as part of the “Polish–Czech Photographic Impressions. Bolesławiec–Trutnov 2017” project, carried out by the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre and the Association of Podkarkonosze Visual Artists in Trutnov, in cooperation with the Bolesławiec CAMERA Photographic Association.

The exhibition concludes a project carried out since September this year and co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund and by the State Budget through the Nysa Euroregion. As part of the project, workshops were held in Bolesławiec and Trutnov. The best works were included in the exhibition, which residents of Bolesławiec could view at the turn of October and November in the foyer of the “Orzeł” Cultural Integration Centre, and which residents of Trutnov are now viewing in the foyer of the VESMÍR cinema. A lasting memento of this interesting meeting between photographers from the two cities is a bilingual folder featuring profiles of the authors and a 2018 calendar containing photographic impressions of Bolesławiec and Trutnov. The project has ended, but the partners’ cooperation continues. They are currently planning further joint initiatives to be carried out next year.
