Since June 2013, officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec have been searching for a missing resident of Zgorzelec. The officers have taken a number of measures—unfortunately, without success.
At the beginning of November this year, in the vicinity of Fabryczna and Lubańska streets in Zgorzelec, police officers conducted an operation using service dogs specialized in searching for human remains. (Investigators do not rule out the possibility that Wiesław Jakimowicz was the victim of a crime.)
Description of the missing man: approximately 175 cm tall, slim build; brown-haired, hazel eyes, oval face, no teeth, large, broad nose with fractures; large, close-fitting ears. On the day of his disappearance, the man was wearing either a navy-blue hooded sweatshirt or a black jacket, as well as dark denim trousers and low shoes.
