In November, the annual city competition for third-grade pupils, “Water, the source of life,” organized by PWiK in Bolesławiec, was held. Four pupils took part: Igor Frontczak, Jakub Orłowski, Zofia Anioł and Igor Plizga. Zofia Anioł and Jakub Orłowski took second place in the individual competition. A poster promoting drinking Bolesławiec tap water, created by a group of third-grade pupils, received one of the three distinctions. In the overall scoring—that is, the points earned by the four pupils and the points for the poster—the school took first place. The prizes were presented by PWiK President Józef Król and Mayor Piotr Roman. The school’s competition coordinator was teacher Monika Grzyb.
