The Bolesławiec Roads Authority is deaf to requests. I asked for the removal of broken branches lying in the ditches on both sides of the road along the Bolesławiec–Warta Bolesławiecka route. They begin at the place where a fatal accident recently occurred.
“After inspecting the aforementioned road, DSDiK services in Wrocław found branches lying in the ditch, which had fallen after strong winds. These branches were prepared by the Bolesławiec County Roads Authority’s maintenance service as part of an agreement on the maintenance of provincial roads,” explains Konrad Antkowiak, spokesperson for the Lower Silesian Roads and Railways Service, which manages this road. “The branches are in the ditch and do not pose a danger to road users.”
He adds: “According to the Bolesławiec County Roads Authority, the branches will be cleared away by the end of the month.”
