On Wednesday, November 15, a debate from the “Let’s Talk About Safety” series was held in the Forum BOK – MCC cinema hall. During the event, representatives of the County Police Headquarters, the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service and the Voivodeship Road Traffic Centre in Bolesławiec gave presentations on the subject.

First-aid classes were held in the cinema lobby, while on Piłsudski Square visitors could use rollover and seat-belt simulators. The meeting concluded with a demonstration by the fire service. Firefighters pulled a man injured in a fictional car accident from his vehicle. Police officers secured the scene.

Several hundred secondary-school students took part in a debate from the “Let’s Talk About Safety” series. “The purpose of this meeting was to show young drivers how their behaviour on the road affects the safety of other road users,” the organisers said.
