Majka, a friend of Hubert, a resident of Lwówek County who, in August this year, while carrying out construction work on Jagiellonów Street in Bolesławiec, cut his carotid artery with an angle grinder, asked us to share an appeal from the injured man's mother. (We present the appeal below.) “This boy must come back to us!” says Ms Majka.
Let’s help Hubert!!!
My name is Marzena Łoza, and I live in Kotliska near Lwówek Śląski. I am the mother of six children, [...] one of whom has a disability. In August this year, my family experienced a terrible tragedy. My eldest son, Hubert Targoński, 21, was injured in a workplace accident while cutting concrete with an angle grinder. During the cutting, the disc broke and severed the arteries on the right side of his neck, causing him to lose consciousness and be taken to hospital.
Hubert has been in the ICU since 24 August 2017. His condition is serious; after the accident, he was in a coma. Hubert is now conscious, but due to extensive complications, he cannot communicate with us.
Hubert urgently needs intensive rehabilitation to achieve partial independence, as well as medical care. We are currently trying to raise funds to cover the costs of treatment at the Functional Rehabilitation Centre Clinic, where he will receive specialist care. The treatment and rehabilitation costs are very high, far beyond our financial means.
Therefore, I am asking for financial support for my child. Every złoty is TREMENDOUS SUPPORT FOR HUBERT AND IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. Thank you in advance for your help.
