The incident occurred during the night of November 4–5 near a petrol station on Zgorzelecka Street in Bolesławiec. Reader:

At around 2:50 a.m. […] a white Citroën drove out in front of me without its lights on, swerving from right to left, using turn signals and forcing the right of way.

He added: “The woman driving the car was stopped. I have to commend the police officers here—I called, and they arrived immediately.”

As it turned out, the 24-year-old resident of Lubań County was drunk. She had more than 1.5 per mille of alcohol in her system. The case will be decided in court. The woman faces up to two years in prison.

Thanks to the response of our Reader, the police took the drunk driver off the road.
