The incident took place in the spring on private property near Jelenia Góra. The 27-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County took advantage of the owner having left her car unlocked and stole property worth nearly PLN 3,000. His haul included, among other things, a car radio, shoes, CDs and toolboxes.
The man was arrested. He now faces up to five years in prison. The police appeal to drivers to lock their cars and not leave valuable items inside them in visible places.
