On All Saints’ Day, there were 7 collisions on the roads of Bolesławiec County, while from October 27 to November 1, during this year’s Operation Znicz, officers recorded as many as 36 road collisions.

What is more, on November 1, police apprehended 2 drunk drivers. (In total, during this year’s Operation Znicz, four people driving under the influence were arrested: two women—aged 32 and 24—and two men—aged 30 and 59. One of them was subject to a court-imposed driving ban.)

Bolesławiec officers:

Let us remember that people are still returning home, so we remind everyone about safe driving rules and compliance with traffic regulations. The most common causes of accidents remain unchanged: bravado combined with excessive speed, incorrect execution of maneuvers—especially overtaking maneuvers—failure to yield the right of way, and alcohol.
