German police officers investigating the theft of an engine worth over PLN 60,000 from a motorboat determined that it might be transported through Poland. They notified Polish Border Guard officers. The latter then received information that the vehicle allegedly used to transport the stolen engine was located in Lubin County.
Officers from the District Police Headquarters in Lubin joined the investigation. They tracked down the vehicle mentioned above on one of Lubin’s streets and recovered the stolen property. What is more, they detained a 26-year-old Moldovan suspected of handling stolen goods.
The Moldovan citizen was taken into police custody. The suspect now faces up to five years in prison.
