The theft took place during the night of October 22–23 in the parking lot near a block of flats on Śluzowa Street in Bolesławiec. The stolen car was a Ford Mondeo station wagon from 2016, in pearl white. The car had a sunroof, tinted rear windows, white LED headlights at the front, and German registration plates. Apart from that, the car had no distinctive features. The car may have been stolen using a so-called relay device, meaning two radio devices. The theft was reported to the police.
A reader wrote to us asking for help. Maybe someone saw something or knows something:
We bought it three weeks earlier. It was only in Bolesławiec for the weekend, from Friday evening, and the theft took place on Sunday night. I would like to publicize the case because there is no trace of the car; not even the windows were broken. Apparently, the perpetrators must have used something to transmit the signal from the keys inside the house to the car in the parking lot, and stole the car this way without triggering the alarm or breaking the windows.
A reward is offered for help in finding the stolen car. Contact telephone number: 791 373 777.
