– Once again, our upper-secondary schools took top places in the ranking of matriculation-exam pass rates. We completed recruitment for the 2017/2018 school year quite respectably, said Bolesławiec County Starosta Karol Stasik.

Last school year, 806 students attended the educational institutions of Bolesławiec County, including 51 more people than previously. (As many as 107 of them were residents of other counties.) – Recruitment this year would have been even better, but because of the renovation of the bridge over the Kwisa, we lost all of Świętoszów, K. Stasik noted. – Young people from that locality went to schools in Żagań.

It is worth emphasizing that some graduates of county schools have no problem finding work. This is the case, for example, with graduates of “Mechanik”. – Some of them did not even wait to take their matriculation exams; they immediately started working at KGHM, the starosta added. – The combine snapped them up immediately.
