The “10 Squats for Zosia” campaign continues. After Zespół Szkół Budowlanych joined the initiative, it was also joined by, among others, Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych, Zespół Szkół Technicznych i Przyrodniczych, as well as Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych.
On 19 May, students and teachers of Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych took up the challenge and did 10 squats in the square in front of the school.
Bolesławiec’s “Mechanik” nominated Zespół Szkół Zakonu Pijarów w Bolesławcu.
The school initiative is rooted in the dramatic story of a young surveying-technician student.
Until recently, Zosia was preparing for her exams, attending practical training and planning her future. However, on her way to practical training, she was hit at a pedestrian crossing. The teenager suffered numerous, very serious injuries.
Today, Zosia is undergoing intensive and costly rehabilitation. Each day is another stage in the fight to regain her abilities and return to a normal life. The support coming from schools is not only symbolic; it also helps publicize her story.
