Criminal investigators from Bolesławiec, together with officers from the Provincial Police Headquarters’ Department for Combating Drug-Related Crime, detained a man suspected of drug-related offenses. At the 28-year-old’s home in Bolesławiec County, they found marijuana, while in utility rooms they discovered more drugs (including five cannabis plants in a grow tent), as well as tobacco and cigarettes without Polish excise markings.
A total of 2,300 retail portions and five marijuana plants, 10 kg of tobacco, and 1,500 packs of cigarettes were seized. The State Treasury’s losses were estimated at more than PLN 35,000.
The 28-year-old resident of our county was taken into police custody. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
