Police officers from the Legnica police headquarters received information about a so-called car chop shop located in the Kunice municipality. In a hall on private property, officers found electronic components and fragments of a car body. It turned out they came from a vehicle that had been stolen in Germany.
The officers arrested three people: the 37-year-old property owner, as well as men aged 21 and 24. All three were taken into police custody.
The detainees may face up to 10 years in prison for handling property of considerable value.
