On Thursday (28 September), a motorcycle collided with a driving school car from Zgorzelec at the intersection of Staszica and Wróblewskiego streets in Bolesławiec. The motorcycle hit the side of the driving school car. As a result of the collision, the 20-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
According to the police, the motorcyclist was responsible for the incident. He was overtaking several cars and hit the driving school car as it was turning left. The cars, including the Mitsubishi driving school car, and the motorcycle entered the intersection on a green light from the direction of Cieszkowskiego Street. When the driving school car was turning left into Staszica Street, it was hit by the motorcycle, which had begun overtaking several cars at once.
The case will be decided in court.
