Bolesławiec detectives received information about the theft of a bicycle worth PLN 800. The bicycle was taken from the staircase of an apartment block. Shortly afterward, a 35-year-old man was arrested while riding the stolen vehicle. It turned out that he was responsible for the theft.
It later emerged that the suspect had committed other offenses. He stole a compressor and a generator from a joinery, as well as a gas heater.
Police recovered property worth more than PLN 10,000. It was returned to its owner.
The arrested 35-year-old will face charges both for the thefts and for possession of 27 psychotropic tablets. The suspect faces up to five years in prison.
