A resident of Bolesławiec County reported a vehicle theft. She had parked the car on one of the city’s streets. When she returned, the car was gone.
It turned out that a 16-year-old had driven it away, taking advantage of the fact that the woman had left the keys in the vehicle’s door. (The teenager explained to the officers that he wanted to test himself as a driver.)
The minor drove home. The following day, he left the car with the keys in the ignition on one of Bolesławiec’s streets and went to school for his classes.
The car was returned to its owner. The 16-year-old will answer for his actions before the family court.
