Jelenia Góra police identified and then arrested a 35-year-old man suspected of theft. From June to July, the arrested man systematically stole seedlings from a private property. They included thuja and cypress trees. The thief made off with 300 shrubs. The victim estimated their total value at approximately PLN 6,000.
The arrested 35-year-old admitted to the crime. He explained that he had sold the stolen seedlings to various people. The suspect could now face up to five years in prison.
